Catmas was very wonderful. I got a bag of Greenies. Chicken Greenies. Which GoG has not been giving me for a while (I think she has forgotten what her name means for the past few months). So Bearded Scritcher gave them to me. Mmmmmm... I haven't had chicken Greenies before. They are delicious. I ate them all, then asked for more, and when I didn't get any, I ate the rest of the tuna ones (The Grump's) and the beef ones (Henry's). They each got their own bag, but they didn't finish and I was still hungry, so I cleaned up the mess. Except The Grump's weren't as good because she only eats the head of each Greenie and spits out the tail so they were covered in spit. Henry ate some of his and one of the Grump's. Then Short Girl pulled out the Horrible Noisy Thing from her stocking. GoG said it was a joke gift. It made horrible noises that sounded like cats in pain or really mad or something. But none of us liked it. Everytime she tried to move it away, it made that noise. I shudder at the thought. Uhhhhhhhhhhhggggggggggggg. Then it disappeared and we haven't heard it since. Henry says she stuffed it in her closet. I'm glad.
Then at dinner, I was not given any meat. Apparently, this thing that smells delicious is called "Hammm." And it seems I will get sick if I eat it. Well, I still want it. It's my choice wether or not I want to be sick, yes? But no hammm for this cat on Catmas. Oh well. I have my Greenies. That'll have to be enough.

Friday Five: Countdown to Christmas Edition
Songbird writes-
It's true.
There are only five full days before Christmas Day, and whether you use them for shopping, wrapping, preaching, worshiping, singing or traveling or even wishing the whole darn thing were over last Tuesday, there's a good chance they will be busy ones.
So let's make this easy, if we can: tell us five things you need to accomplish before Christmas Eve.
1. Help the Humans get the meat ready for Christmas dinner. I hope it's chicken.
2. Help them decorate the tree. I'm sure they'll need an extra paw hanging ornaments.
3. Convince Henry that it is fun to let me sleep in on Christmas day.
4. Convince Tiria that it is fun to play tag to wake up the Humans on Christmas day.
5. Sleep. I concur.
Merry Christmas to All!

Friday Five: Windows of the Soul
Sophia from RevGalBlogPals:
This Friday Five is inspired by my husband's Lasik surgery yesterday....He'd been contemplating it for a while and was pushed over the edge by the fact that we put too much money in our healthcare spending account this year and it would have been gone anyway. (There was only enough for one eye, but the kind people at the eye clinic figured out a way to divvy up the charges between surgery and followup in January=next year's spending account). So please say a little prayer for his safe recovery and share with us your thoughts on eyes and vision.
1. What color are your beautiful eyes? Did you inherit them from or pass them on to anyone in your family?
Mine are blue-grey, a very lovely shade. Mine are green, but sometimes they look sorta yellow.
2. What color eyes would you choose if you could change them?
Well, when you have the perfect eye color, what can be changed? I would like eyelashes though. I want orange eyes, bright orange. Orange is cool.
3. Do you wear glasses or contacts? What kind? Like 'em or hate 'em?
No, of course not, I'm a cat. Well, duh, no.
4. Ever had, or contemplated, laser surgery? Happy with the results?
ONCE again, no. No I'm a cat.
5. Do you like to look people in the eye, or are you more eye-shy?
I am very eye-shy. I like to look them in the eye.
Bonus question: Share a poem, song, or prayer that relates to eyes and seeing.
