DANG!

DANG! Giver of Greenies caught me in mid-hork. On the carpet. Right beside the bed.

I didn't mean to. I'm shedding you know, and well, sometimes, a lady gets a gak stuck in her throat after grooming and... oops. Is that TMI? Sorry...

T.O.C. is laughing at me. Like she never does a hork? I don't think so!

Slightly embarrassed...

Not me

I know I am the youngster in the house, but how come *I* get blamed every time something gets knocked over downstairs, or something gets scratched... or *someone* leaves a "present" on the floor??? I didn't do it. Not ME!

Humans are funny. They all go EW EW EW when they see "presents." But it was not MY "present." And besides, it was downstairs. I am the upstairs cat. T.O.C.** is the downstairs cat.

Time for a nap.

**T.O.C. is that other cat. She doesn't like me much.

Joy

Songbird says:

Tell us about five people, places, or things that have brought surprising, healing joy into your life.

  1. Greenies -- I know I blog about them a lot but they just make a kitty purrrrrrrr and do tricks. And feel loves.
  2. Bearded Scritcher -- He didn't mean to drop his shoe on me. And when I acted really scared he fed me Greenies... And his fleece shirt is so warm...
  3. Giver of Greenies -- She always hides the bag. I know where. But I have not figured out how to get the drawer open (yet!) I like to keep her computer chair warm.
  4. String Puller and String Plucker -- Assistants in the Greenie giver and scritching department. They are apprentices and aren't doing too badly.
  5. My Foster Mom -- I don't remember her name. Nice people found me in the snow and took me to her house. She let me hide under the dresser for weeks. She still gave me food and a wuzzly blanket. She let me sit on her couch (but not on the kitchen counter -- why?) But I was a stranger and she took me in... and she helped me find my forever family.
I'd put down T.O.C. (that other cat) but she still won't play with me...

O.T.C.

I am O.T.C. (one tired cat)

Giver of Greenies keeps typing late at night. I have to stay up and help her. I have learned how to check her pens and pencils for gravity. And I sit on papers. And sometimes I sit on one of her feet. (I heard her tell the String Puller she likes it when I do that.) And when she is going on entirely too long I play with the leather laces on her slippers. hehe...

She's tired but she doesn't go to bed. She keeps clicking at the keys. She says she has to. Why is that?

Besides, I need my other human to be warm when it's time to sleep...

sigh

It's hard being a cat.
